We love the warm people of Mali. Helping them with their often difficult lives is a real concern for us. As ITO we are involved in various projects - financially and with our logistics know-how.

A truly fulfilling project was the support for the rehabilitation of an old colonial dam in the Mopti region. As the dam gates were no longer functional, 7 villages with about 3,800 inhabitants in this rural region suffered acute water shortages. And water shortage means danger of death there. The water, on the other hand, can even be used for agriculture and the women of the villages can market the harvests.

We have financially supported the Mali-Hilfe e.V. association together with other organisations and are pleased to have made our contribution.
